Worksafe HP Course - Personnel or Materials Hoist
Course in Hoist Operation (Personnel & Materials)
A personnel & materials hoist operator looks after the operation of a hoist used for personnel, goods and/or materials. A hoist can be cantilever hoist, a tower hoist or a multiple winch operation. The work is categorised as 'high risk' work under the category 'HP'. To operate the personnel and/or materials hoist operator is required to hold a valid licence allowing to perform high risk work in category HP.
This course is specifically designed for Personnel or Materials Hoist operators. At the end of this course, participants will be able to plan their work and check the equipment as well as being able to apply a working knowledge of the OH&S and regulatory requirements in accordance with Worksafe standards.

All material is supplied including trainees guide, workbook, resource materials, assessment paperwork and administrative documentation. |

Prerequisites |

Basic verbal and written English communication skills sufficient to read material and understand instruction.Participants are required to have general good health and fitness and any pre-existing medical conditions that will affect the training must be disclosed prior to attending. |
