Which forklift licence type is suitable for me - LF or LO?

Worksafe offers two types of licence classes for forklifts – LF and LO class licence. With LF class forklift licence you can operate any forklift except for the order picker forklifts.

So if you are going to operate order pickers, you should obtain the LO class forklift licence. If you have not yet decided but you are certain to work in a warehouse then also it is advisable that you go for LO class licence. This is based on the fact that order picker forklift is the most common type of forklifts used in warehouses.

However, LF is the most popular forklift licence type so if you are yet to find a work or your current work does not require operating the order picking than LF forklift licence may be advisable.

We have over 10 forklift training locations across Melbourne. This is to offer you a convenient and quick placement into a forklift course of your. We are sure that you will find at least one forklift training location that is near you, alternatively, we can also arrange an ‘onsite’ training for group bookings.
